AIT Bioscience Expands its Team
New Faces for Commercial Team
AIT Bioscience continues to grow its team to add breadth and depth to our areas of expertise and to also expand our presence in specific geographic areas. We are excited to introduce two new members of our business development team and one new member to our commercial operations team.
Jeff Goddard has over 23 years of technical sales, marketing, business development and operations experience, including the last 18 years in leadership positions in the biopharma/life sciences industry. He joined AIT Bioscience, as Vice President of Business Development in May 2018. Jeff came to AIT Bioscience from EPL Archives, where he was Director of Global Business Development for seven years, building and leading sales and marketing for this international biorepository service provider, contributing to its successful sale to VWR International in March 2017.
Jeff’s corporate experience ranges from Fortune 500 companies to venture-backed startups, providing solutions into the pharmaceutical/biotech, agriculture/animal health, diagnostic, and academic/government markets. He has broad experience in complex and highly regulated industries including pharmaceutical drug development, in-vitro/companion diagnostics, medical devices, personalized medicine, and laboratory services. Prior to his time at EPL Archives, Jeff held executive and sales management positions at BioStorage Technologies, Quadraspec, BASi, and Gene Logic (formerly TherImmune Research Corporation).
Jeff earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Notre Dame and a M.B.A. from George Washington University. He currently serves as President on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Ballet Conservatory, and is actively involved with the Bengal Mission Bouts at University of Notre Dame.
Deborah Kaldunski Cole
Deborah Kaldunski Cole joins as Business Development Director for our West region. Deborah brings over 20 years of sales and operations experience in the biotechnology and CRO industries with a focus on the West Coast, specifically California. She also has extensive experience in GLP/GMP processes and regulations.
Prior to joining AIT Bioscience, Deborah served as the Business Development Director at Schulman IRB (Phase I – IV Central IRB Services) where she collaborated with pharma and biotech sponsors, contract research and site management organizations to deliver Institutional Review Board (IRB) and study start up services. She successfully understood clients’ challenges and needs and delivered comprehensive solutions for start-up efficiencies.
Deborah studied Political Economy of Natural Resources at the University of California, Berkeley.
Ray Fitzpatrick joins AIT Bioscience as Director, Commercial Operations. Ray brings over twenty-five years of experience in customer support, operations/process improvement, training, CRM applications and IT business engagement with companies such as Roche Diagnostics and Covance.
Prior to joining AIT Bioscience, he served as the Vice President of Customer Care for NextRadio and TagStation, where he collaborated cross functionally to achieve peak performance for operations. At AIT Bioscience, Ray will leverage his customer relations and biotechnology experience to lead three key areas: Customer success/sales operations; marketing; and business processes.
Ray earned a B.S. in Finance from Villanova University and a M.B.A. from University of New Haven. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
