Ligand Binding Assay Group Leader
Mr. Spriggs has over 17 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, over 15 years of which has been in the area of Ligand Binding Assay (LBA) bioanalysis. His bachelor’s degree was received from Ohio University in 1998. After working for several years, he received is M.S. in quality assurance and regulatory affairs (with a certificate in clinical trial management) from Temple Univeristy in 2015. Mr. Spriggs has had the opportunity to work with some of the preeminent scientists in the area of regulated protein bioanalysis. These include; Dr. Binodh DeSilva during Mr. Spriggs’s time at Amgen, Inc in Thousand Oaks, CA, Dr. Boris Gorovits and Bonnie Rup while at Pfizer, Inc in Andover, MA, and Dr. Ronald Bowsher since his arrival at AIT Bioscience. Mr. Spriggs has been an active member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) for several years. During his time as an AAPS member, he has been a member of the ligand binding assay bioanalytical focus group, a member of the BIOTEC section executive leadership team, a member fo the regulatory sciences leadership team, Chair of the Student/Post-doc outreach and development committee, and part of the National Biotechnology Conference Programming Committee.
